What’s my story?

I am Floor, the proud owner of Foodtruck Florizza, and I am so grateful that you are taking a moment to get to know me. This journey began in May 2024, alongside my mom and sister, and it has been one of the most fulfilling adventures of my life.

From a young age, the world of food and hospitality has been my passion. I still remember the summers spent with my dad in the Italian restaurant, where, at just twelve years old, I was trusted with cutting tomatoes and serving gelato to our guests. Those summers in the kitchen became a part time job as a waitress. It sparked a passion in me—not just for food, but for hospitality, for learning about wine, and for exploring flavours from around the world. My dad has always been my greatest role model, and it was in his kitchen that I discovered my true calling.

I was not really a school kid, however I made the best out of it. After completing my studies at the International Management Hotel School in The Hague, I followed my heart into the world of fine dining and eventually became a manager in a beautiful hotel. I am so lucky to do what I love every day: creating memorable experiences for our guests.

But the dream of Florizza was always there, quietly waiting for the right moment. My mom and I had talked about having a food truck for years, but life kept us busy. Then, as if by fate, the opportunity. presented itself, and I knew I had to seize it. Now, I get to live my dream—doing what I love most, alongside the people who mean the world to me. My heart is full of gratitude every single day.
